The Mountain Top Advocacy Coalition was founded in 2019 by residents concerned about the rise of opioid and other substance use disorders in our area. The Mountaintop Community is composed of people from the towns of Windham, Tannersville, Hunter, Prattsville, Jewett and Ashland. Our strength lies in the ability to bring people of various backgrounds with a common goal to help those in need.
As we began to look at the opioid issue, we realized that the need in our community transcends addiction and is one of overall health and wellness. As a group, we are taking a look at each of the identifiable issues in our community and seeing what we can do to improve them. One easy way to help fill needs is to provide a list of the resources available in our community.
